The Deputy Commissioner and Commissioner of Police Ludhiana has awarded world-renowned Dr Bishav Mohan with DGP Commendation Disc. For his exemplary services during coronavirus, Ludhiana DC Varinder Kumar Sharma and CP Gurpreet Singh Bhullar have awarded him.
Dr Bishav Mohan is a professor of cardiology at Dayanand Medical College & Hospital, Ludhiana.
Both DC and CP Ludhiana congratulated Dr Bishav Mohan and praised him for the excellent job he has done during coronavirus pandemic.
“Pillar of strength during covid times”
Deputy Commissioner Varinder Kumar said, “Dr Mohan has been a pillar of strength for the district administration Ludhiana. He did a great job during testing times when Covid was at its peak.
Further, he said that Dr Mohan educated the masses about ways to save themselves from Covid 19. He was also instrumental in motivating the public for Covid vaccination.
DC Varinder Kumar Sharma said that Dr Bishav Mohan has always led from the front. This can be known from the fact that he was the first person in district Ludhiana who got himself vaccinated for Covid.

Dr Bishav Mohan thanked the Punjab government for bestowing this honour upon him and assured that he would continue to serve the people.
