
New Delhi: Marking National Paper Bag Day, around 80 NCC cadets from Titiksha Public School, under the guidance of Second Officer Monica Sharma of the 5 Delhi Girls Battalion, organized a large-scale environmental awareness campaign to encourage the use of paper bags and discourage the use of single-use plastic.

The awareness drive was conducted with the objective of inspiring citizens to adopt eco-friendly alternatives and contribute towards a cleaner and greener environment.
Awareness March Conducted at Three Key Locations

The NCC cadets carried out energetic awareness marches at three prominent locations in Delhi:
- Rithala Metro Station
- DDA Market, Sector 11
- Titiksha Public School Campus

Marching through the streets with enthusiasm, the cadets raised impactful environmental slogans, drawing the attention of commuters, shoppers, students, and local residents. Their spirited participation highlighted the importance of reducing plastic waste and adopting sustainable practices in everyday life.
Handmade Paper Bags Distributed Among Public






As part of the campaign, the cadets distributed handmade paper bags to members of the public, encouraging them to replace plastic carry bags with environmentally friendly alternatives.
