KARIGARI BAZAAR – DILLI 2026 Opens at Constitution Club, Showcasing India’s Rich MSME and Handicraft Heritage

New Delhi | July 16, 2026: A vibrant celebration of India’s traditional craftsmanship and MSME sector began in the national capital with the inauguration of KARIGARI BAZAAR – DILLI 2026, a National MSME Showcase and Marketplace, at the Constitution Club of India, Rafi Marg, New Delhi.

The 11-day exhibition, running from July 15 to July 25, 2026, has been organised by Ambpali Handloom and Handicraft Multi-State Cooperative Society Ltd. with the support of the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, under the Procurement and Marketing Support (PMS) Scheme. The event also receives support from the National Jute BoardMinistry of TextilesDepartment of Women and Child Development, Government of NCT of Delhi, and LIC of India.

Grand Inauguration with Senior Government Officials

The exhibition was formally inaugurated by Dr. Rashmi Singh, IAS, Secretary, Department of Women and Child Development, Government of NCT of Delhi, who attended the event as the Chief GuestMs. Neelam Pratap Rudygraced the occasion as the Guest of Honour.

The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of several senior officials and dignitaries, including Dr. R.K. Bharti, Director, MSME-DFO, Okhla; Shri Sunil Kumar, Deputy Director, MSME-DFO, Okhla; Shri Kishan Singh Ghughtyal, Joint Director (MP&SI), National Jute Board; Shri Shashi Bhushan Singh, Secretary, National Jute Board; Shri A.K. Pradhan, Under Secretary, Ministry of Handloom/Handicrafts; Ms. Dimple Jain, Regional Manager, Corporate Communication, LIC Delhi; and Shri M.S. Rana, Assistant Secretary, Corporate Communication, LIC Delhi, along with representatives from various ministries and institutions.

The ceremony began with the traditional lamp-lighting ritual, followed by addresses from the Chief Guest, Guest of Honour and other dignitaries, who praised the initiative for creating a dedicated marketplace for artisans, weavers, women entrepreneurs and MSMEs.

Platform for India’s Traditional Industries

Speaking at the event, dignitaries highlighted the critical role of MSMEs in India’s economic growth and stressed the importance of promoting indigenous products through dedicated marketing platforms. They noted that exhibitions like KARIGARI BAZAAR – DILLI 2026 help bridge the gap between producers and buyers by connecting artisans directly with consumers, wholesalers, distributors and institutional purchasers.

The organisers stated that the exhibition aligns with national initiatives such as Vocal for LocalMake in India, and Atmanirbhar Bharat, while encouraging the promotion of handmade, handloom, handicraft, textile, jute and other traditional Indian products.

Around 80 Stalls Featuring Products from Across India

The exhibition features around 80 stalls, representing various government-supported initiatives and participating organisations.

The stall distribution includes:

  • 60 stalls supported by the Ministry of MSME
  • 10 stalls supported by the National Jute Board
  • 2 stalls by the Department of Women and Child Development, Government of NCT of Delhi
  • 1 stall by LIC of India
  • 7 stalls managed by Ambpali Handloom and Handicraft Multi-State Cooperative Society Ltd.

Visitors can explore an extensive collection of traditional Indian products, including Banarasi sarees, Bhagalpuri silk, Bhadohi carpets, Khurja pottery, Kantha embroidery, Kerala mural paintings, eco-friendly jute products, handloom and handicrafts, textiles, herbal and organic products, agro-based products, processed food, home décor and decorative items, along with several other cottage industry products.

Artisans, entrepreneurs and exhibitors from Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Bihar, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi-NCR and several other states are participating in the exhibition.

Strengthening Market Access for MSMEs

The primary objective of KARIGARI BAZAAR – DILLI 2026 is to provide national visibility, direct market access and new business opportunities to India’s MSMEs, artisans, women entrepreneurs and small producers. By bringing together buyers and sellers under one roof, the exhibition aims to strengthen India’s traditional industries while encouraging sustainable livelihoods.

The organisers have invited residents of Delhi-NCR to visit the exhibition with their families and support India’s rich heritage of handcrafted products and local enterprises.
