ROY

The box office collection worldwide of Roy was Rs. 70.42 crore, therefore, the performance of the film was a flop. Even though the movie starred brilliant actors like Arjun Rampal, Jacqueline Fernandes and Ranbir Kapoor as the main leads, the film failed to impress the audience as well the box office.

Ankit Tiwari, Meet Bros Anjjan, and Amaal Mallik wrote the songs for Roy. In 2015, “Sooraj Dooba Hai” and “Tu Hai Ki Nahi Whistle” were popular songs. Sandeep Nath, Abhendra Kumar Upadhyay, and Kumaar wrote the lyrics. T-Series purchased the film’s musical rights. The movie’s music was composed by Sanjoy Chowdhury.

While the film’s story, screenplay, direction, and slow narration received criticism from critics and audiences alike, Arjun Rampal and Ranbir Kapoor’s performances, as well as the film’s cinematography, locations, and dramatic score, received positive reviews.

FITOOR

Even with a star-studded star cast like Katrina Kaif, Aditya Roy Kapoor and Tabu, Fitoor proved to be an underwhelming success at the box office. ADIPURUSH

Everyone might be aware of the recent failure of the mythological action film Adipurush and how it was criticised by the public. However, the music of the movie still managed to get some space in people’s hearts. Adipurush was released on June 16, 2023 to mixed reviews from critics who critiqued the script, language, and graphics of the movie while praising the soundtrack. It turned out to be a box office bomb.

Ajay-Atul and Sachet-Parampara (noted) created the film’s soundtrack for both the Hindi and Telugu versions. On April 6, 2023, Hanuman Jayanti, the first song, “Jai Shri Ram” in its condensed form, was published. The whole song, which also has dubbed versions in Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, was released on May 20, 2023, with the same name in Hindi and Telugu. On May 29, 2023, the second single, “Ram Siya Ram” in Hindi and “Ram Sita Ram” in Telugu, was made available.

LAAL SINGH CHADDHA

As of 22 August 2022, the film grossed ₹69.92 crore (US$8.8 million) in India and ₹59.72 crore (US$7.5 million) overseas, for a worldwide gross collection of ₹129.64 crore. Against its ₹180 crore budget, the film generated worldwide revenue of ₹129.64 crore and was thus declared a box office bomb.

Critics and viewers gave it mixed to excellent reviews when it first came out; they praised it for its fidelity to the original material, depth, music, background score, and passion, but they criticised Khan’s performance. The songs of the film are popular among netizens. Tere Hawaale song is also quite popular on Instagram Reels.

CHUP: REVENGE OF THE ARTIST

Although proved to be a hit given its box office collection, Chup wasn’t widely loved by the audience. The performances of the actors in the film were extremely loved, however, the film failed to garner the attention it deserved. The songs of the film were quite loved by music lovers, especially Gaya Gaya Gaya. Sang by Rupali Moghe, Shashwat Singh and music by Amit Trivedi, the song attracted millions of listeners from all over the world.

HIT: THE FIRST CASE

HIT: Sailesh Kolanu’s 2022 Indian Hindi-language action suspense-thriller The First Case, a remake of his 2020 Telugu film of the same name, was written and directed. T-Series and Dil Raju Production are the producers of the movie. Rajkummar Rao and Sanya Malhotra are the stars.

Sayeed Quadri and Manan Bhardwaj wrote the lyrics, while Mithoon and Manan Bhardwaj created the music for the movie. John Stewart Eduri is the composer of the movie’s score. On June 29, 2022, the first single was made available. The songs of the film were quite popular and still are heard. Kitni Haseen Hogi sung by Arijit Singh has been a huge hit ever since the release of the film.

RADHE SHYAM

Every song in this movie is dearly loved by the audience along with the performances and cinematography. Receiving mixed reviews, the songs of the film proved to be a treat for the ears! From the sweet melody of Jaan Hai Meri by Armaan Malik to the song of passion Aashiqui Aa Gayi by Arijit Singh, all songs have their own way of portraying love.

JUG JUG JEEYO

From the romantic Nain Ta Heere to the dance number of the year Nach Panjaban, every song reminds us of family, love and reunion! Even though the film was an average grosser at the box office, it cannot be counted in the list of flop movies in Bollywood.
