Flipkart co-founder Sachin Bansal’s wife has filed a dowry harassment case against him, the police reportedly said today. Kari Basavanagowda, Madiwala Assistant Commissioner of Police confirmed IANS, “Priya Bansal has filed a dowry harassment case against him.”
In her FIR, Priya Bansal alleged that her in-laws came to her home before their marriage and asked for dowry. She also alleged that she was mentally and physically tortured by her in-laws and husband for dowry since her wedding. Further, she claimed that Sachin Bansal assaulted her sister as well.
“On 20 October 2019, Sachin physically assaulted me when he tried to transfer all my properties on my name to his name and I refused to it, ” Priya Bansal wrote in her FIR.
