1 – Joint Entrance Examination (Main) –

The first and repotted Entrance Exams for Higher Studies after 12th in India is JEE. The government of India has established the National Testing Agency.  It is an independent premier testing organization under the Societies Registration Act.  NTA is for conducting efficient, transparent, and international standardized tests.

Eligibility

12TH Pass out in PCM option, are required to either be within the category-wise top 20th  percentile of successful candidates in the Class XII Board Examination or secure a 75% mark (65% for SC (scheduled castes), ST (scheduled tribes), and PwD (people with disabilities).

JEE (Main) comprises two papers. Paper 1 is for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E/B.Tech.) at NITs, IIITs.

Paper 2 is for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses in the Country.

The JEE (Main) – 2022 will be conducted in 02 (two) sessions for admissions in the academic session 2022-23.

2-  Joint Entrance Examination (Advanced) –

This examination held annually in India. The examination is organized by(IIT Roorkee, IIT Kharagpur, IIT Delli, IIT Kanpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, and IIT Guwahati)

Eligibility –

One should rank among the top candidates in Paper-1 of JEE (Main). One should be less than 25 years of age, with five-year relaxation for SC, ST, and PwD candidates. Students can attempt examination at most two times in two consecutive years.

The exam is scheduled to be held on Sunday, August 28,2022

3- National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) NEET –

It is an all India pre-medical entrance test for students who wish to pursue undergraduate medical (MBBS), dental (BDS) and AYUSH (BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, etc.) courses in government and private institutions in India

Eligibility –

The student should have Physics, Chemistry and Biology taught in classes 11 and 12 

It is an all India pre-medical entrance test for students. Who wish to pursue undergraduate medical (MBBS), dental (BDS) and AYUSH (BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, etc.) courses in government and private institutions in India.

The NEET exam is conducted online and in 11 languages. The duration of the examination is three hours. As per the NEET-UG has removed the upper age limit for NEET 2022

4 – Armed Forces Medical College Entrance Exam 

Another Entrance Exams for Higher Studies after 12th in India is Armed Forces Medical College Entrance Exam.  It is for undergraduate and postgraduate medical and nursing students with assured career prospects in the defence services.

The college offers two UG courses – MBBS and B.Sc. nursing. As PG courses, the college offers various specializations with MD and MD/MS degrees, along with M.Sc. degree in Anatomy and Master’s degree in Hospital Administration.

AFMC MBBS admission 2021 will be done on the basis of scores obtained in ToELR, NEET exam and interview

Eligibility

Candidates must be in age 17 -24 yrs. The candidate must be unmarried. Should be medically fit as per prescribed standards by the Govt. of India, Ministry of Defence. Candidates must have obtained a minimum 60% in the 10+2 examination.

5 -National Entrance Exam for Design –

It is known as one of the finest educational and research institutions for Industrial, Communication, Textile and IT Integrated (Experiential) Design.

Eligibility

Should be 12th pass qualifying examinations in the academic year 2021–22 in any stream. Candidates will be offered admission to NID based on the final merit list of the Overseas category. The upper age limit for candidates belonging to the general category is 20 years and for others is 23.

6- Common Law Admission Test(Entrance Exams for Higher Studies after 12th in India)

Common-Law Admission Test is a centralized national level entrance test. Most private and self-financed law schools in India also use these scores for law admissions.

Eligibility

One must have passed Class 12. Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam in March/April 2022 are also eligible. There is no age limit for appearing.

After appearing in a national-level law entrance exam you can get admission to 22 national law universities and more than 70 affiliated colleges.

7- Birla Institute of Technology Science Admission Test –

It is a Computer-based online test for Admissions. The exam is to be held for a duration of 3 hours. It is a national-level entrance test conducted by BITS Pilani.

Eligibility –

Candidates with an aggregate of 75% marks in PCM/PCB and an individual score of at least 60% each in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology. Passed class 12th in 2021 or 2022.

If you want to get direct admission, then you must have secured the first rank in State and Central Board in India for 2022.  

9-  NDA and NA (National Defence Academy and Naval Academy) –

The National Defence Academy (NDA) & Naval Academy (NA) Examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) twice a year. It is a national-level entrance exam administered to recruit the best personnel for the defence forces of India. 

Eligibility –

12th Class of 10+2 System of Education/Equivalent for Army and with Physics and Math’s for AF & Navy. As per UPSC notification. Students should be Unmarried.

And, student have to spend 3 Yrs. at NDA and 1 Yrs. at IMA (For Army cadets)/ 3 Yrs. at NDA and 1 Yrs. at Naval Academy (For Naval cadets)/ 3 Yrs. at NDA and 1 & 1/2 Yrs. at AFA Hyderabad (For AF cadets)

10- National Eligibility Entrance Exam for Under Graduate –

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) or NEET, formerly the All India Pre-Medical Test, is an all India pre-medical entrance test for students who wish to pursue undergraduate.

Eligibility –

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English as core subjects from a recognized board. Class 12 or equivalent appearing aspirants are also eligible to apply for NEET.

11- All India Merchant Navy Entrance

Admission in merchant navy courses is done through an entrance exam followed by a screening test and main written exam. 

Eligibility –

One must be an Indian citizen. Passing the medical fitness test for sea services as per the standard norms is mandatory.

Qualified class 12th with science stream including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics. The candidates should be in between 17 years (minimum) and 28 years (maximum).

12 – Indian Institute of Space Technology

Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology is a government-aided institute and deemed university for the study and research of space science. And, the entrance exam score decide the eligibility of student.

Eligibility –
Candidates should have at least 75% aggregate marks in class 12 board or equivalent examination. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories should have scored a minimum of 65% aggregate. Must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.

13 – Jawaharlal  Nehru University) NEW DELHI Written Exam 

JNU Conduct entrance exam for admission in the Jawaharlal Nehru University. The Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Examination (JNUEE) is the All India Level Entrance Examination. The final selection of the candidates will be based upon the performance in the computer-based test for all programmes of study.

Eligibility –

UG – Applying candidates must have qualified 12th level exam from any recognized board or university. 

PG -Applicants must have completed their bachelor’s degree in any discipline under 10+2+3 education with a minimum aggregate of 50 % marks.

14- Central Institute of English and foreign languages HYDERABAD

The English and Foreign Languages University known as EFLU is a central university for English and foreign languages located in Hyderabad, India. EFLU is the only such university dedicated to languages in South Asia.

Eligibility –

UG courses will be based on the marks scored by the candidates in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET), conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
PG –For PG programmes candidates will have to take the EFLU entrance test.

15-  Indian Statistical Institute Written Exam 

The institute provides undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Mathematics and Library Science.
Indian Statistical Institute Admission(ISI) Test is a national level exam. And, ISI Calcutta conduct this test once a year to grant admission into various courses like – B Stat (Hons), B. Math. (Hons), M Stat, M Math, MS (QE), MS (QMS), MS (LIS), M Tech (CS), M Tech (CrS), M Tech (QROR), PG Diplomas and Research Fellowships.

Eligibility –

UG -undergraduate level entrance you are eligible to give exam after 12th standard. PG-In this an applicant must have a three-year Bachelor’s degree in any discipline. Selection Procedure Selection of candidates will be based on performance in written tests and subsequent interview.

16- The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) (Entrance Exams for Higher Studies after 12th in India)

National Institute of advanced Studies in architecture conduct the National Aptitude Test in Architecture. It is a body of Council of Architecture, New Delhi in India. The National Aptitude Test in Architecture is a national level examination for admission to undergraduate courses in architecture.

Eligibility –

Candidates need to be pass 10+2 or appearing in 10+2, with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Maths. And, also 50% marks in aggregate or passed/appearing 10+3 Diploma exam with Maths as compulsory subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate.

17 –  Indian Institute of Science Bangalore Written Exam –

Students can apply for admission in various courses at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels at IISc.

And, after the exam these courses are given to the students on the basis of the marks obtained in the written exam.

Eligibility –

Aspirants need to be pass 10+2 having Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry as main subjects with a minimum of 60% marks from a recognized board are eligible to apply.

And, all candidates have to appear for a national level entrance exam. Then shortlisted students will get a call for an interview based on their performance in the national level entrance examination.

18- All India Pre Veterinary Test –(Entrance Exams for Higher Studies after 12th in India)

Veterinary Council of India conduct an all India Pre-Veterinary Test or AIPVT.  It focus to provide admission to students in Bachelors of Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry degree programme.

This exam conduct at the national level.

Eligibility –

The applicant must be an Indian citizen. Candidates belonging to Jammu and Kashmir are not eligible to apply.

The lower age limit is 17 years and the upper age limit is 25 years .

Exception: for SC/ST/OBC students, relaxation of five years in age criteria.

The minimum educational qualification is 10+2 pass with physics, chemistry, biology and English as the main subjects.

19-AIIMS Delhi Admission –

AIIMS is a well recognised Entrance Exams for Higher Studies after 12th in India. AIIMS Delhi 2022 admission is based on entrance test base only.

The institute offers over 90 undergraduates, postgraduate, super-specialty and doctoral programmes in the streams.Programmes such as Medical, Nursing, Applied Science.

The admission cycle is based on the entrance exams throughout the year.

Eligibility –

Candidate must have at least 55% marks in Class 12 or equivalent General/OBC (50% in case of SC/ST category) in aggregate in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology

20-  CA programme Common Proficiency Test

Common Proficiency Test is an entry level examination for admission to the Chartered Accountancy Course.

A 10th Passed student can register for CPT Course by filling in the prescribed registration form along with the requisite fee.

Student who has passed higher qualifications than 10th class such as B.Com, M.Com, LL.

 Eligibility –        

A student must have passed 10th and 12th exams or equivalent qualifying exam from a recognised board. The student also must have registered with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India Common Proficiency Course (ICAI CPC).

The student can get exemption from appearing in the entry-level test. If a candidate secures 55% in B.Com or M.Com or 60% in bachelor or masters (other than commerce).
