Delhi: As a precautionary measure against Coronavirus, many states in India have taken closed the universities, colleges, cinema halls, and other public places.

On March 12, IIT (Indian Institute of Technology}, Delhi, was also closed due to the same reason and the examinations also got suspended till March 31.

For the students burdened with stress and examinations’ preparations, this was a moment of celebration rather than worrying about the Coronavirus outbreak.

Another user wrote, “Happy for IIT Delhi Boys… I could never get the privilege of exams canceled how much I prayed Rain God in Mumbai…”

On Thursday, IIT Director V. Ramgopal Rao tweeted, “In view of COVID situation, IIT Delhi has decided to cancel all classes, examinations and public gatherings with immediate effect on campus until March 31. Please inform all concerned.”

In India, the number of positive Coronavirus cases has reached more than 100.
