What should be done to prevent Coronavirus spread through mobile phones?

The first and the utmost thing to do is to sanitize mobile phones on a daily basis. This is something which we all should have been doing regularly. But now, during the Coronavirus pandemic, it is more important than before.

The following are some tips to sanitize/disinfect your mobile phone:

  • One of the easiest methods to sanitize your mobile phone is using warm water and a bit of soap. Lightly rinsing your mobile phone with warm water and soap, then let it air dry for some time, will do no harm. If you do this, make sure that you don’t do it on the earphone jack and charging port.
  • Another way is to use mobile wipes. These can be used for the screen and the rest of the phone’s body. This is the best way without exposing the mobile phone to any harmful chemicals or water.
  • In this pandemic stage, one must keep the mobile phone and other things like switchboards, door handles, doorbells completely sanitized. It is up to you how many times a day you sanitize your phone. But doing that daily is highly advised.
