New Delhi: In a proud moment for Titiksha Public School, Rohini, Second Officer and Associate NCC Officer (ANO) Monica Sharma was honoured with the ANO Award during a prestigious ceremony held at the Red Fort, Delhi, ahead of the 80th Independence Day celebrations and Independence Day Celebrations (IDC) 2026.
The award was presented by Raksha Rajya Mantri Shri Sanjay Seth in recognition of her outstanding contribution, dedication, leadership and exemplary performance while preparing NCC cadets for the national celebrations.
Monica Sharma is associated with 5 Delhi Girls Battalion (5DGBN) and played an important role in coordinating the training and practice sessions involving nearly 2,000 NCC cadets.
