10 easy ways to practice mindfulness

Eat mindfully

Do you eat your food while watching TV or scrolling your mobile phone? If yes, then you need to change your habit. You miss the delicious taste of the food when you indulge yourself in something else while having a meal. So, the first simple step is to eat mindfully. Just eat when you eat and drink when you drink. No other work at all!

Be a single-tasker

Another easy way to practice mindfulness is to do one task at a time. Do not try to be a multi-tasker if you find it difficult. Just do one chore at a time. Multi-tasking won’t help you if you want to be mindful. You need to slow down a bit. You will just be indulged in the work altogether and won’t focus on anything else. However, you won’t have to split your focus if you do one task at a time.

Pause between actions

Pause while you do small actions. For example- Pause for a second when you pick up your phone. Just hold yourself for a second when you open up your laptop and start your work. Remember the task you are going to do ahead.
